Why can't I connect to my server after purchasing it?

Due to the way that Veloren nightly dedicated servers are updated, the version of the software used depends on the time that the server is updated.

If you have just purchased your server, please note the following:
-If you purchased your server after 11:00PM pacific time, you will need to wait until 11:00PM pacific time the next day for the update to occur.
-If you purchased your server before 11:00PM pacific time, your server will be updated at 11:00 PM pacific time.

Airshipper clients have their daily updates available at approximately 11:45PM pacific time.

If your Airshipper Veloren client/game is unable to connect to your server due to a version mismatch, it is likely due to one of the following circumstances:

-Your server has not yet automatically updated at the appropriate time of day. Please wait for the daily update to occur automatically, then try to connect. The automatic update time for servers with HostEZ is 5:00PM pacific time.


-Your server was automatically updated at the appropriate time, but your Veloren game client is not updated. According to the development team, the newest Airshipper update is available approximately 1 hour after the automatic update time.

We realize that this may be a confusing matter and we are trying to simplify the process as much as possible.
